This is a dual-band, omnidirectional, vehicle-mounted antenna covering 30-88 MHz (VHF Low Band) and 400-470 MHz (UHF Band) simultaneously through a single fiberglass radiating element. Built for tactical and mobile communication platforms, it combines two independent frequency bands in one compact, ruggedized whip, eliminating the need for separate VHF and UHF antennas on the same vehicle.
The antenna features a high-strength fiberglass-reinforced (FRP) radome, a flange-ring base mount for secure vehicle installation, and a shock-absorbing spring integrated above the mounting flange to protect the antenna and feed point from vibration, road shock, and mechanical stress during mobile operation. Two independent N-type female connectors at the base provide isolated RF feed paths for the VHF and UHF bands respectively.
